    As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

    What will you be doing?

    M Group is undertaking a significant group-wide transformation programme to bring the best of M Group in all of our delivery for customers. The programme encompasses brand, operating model, technology, sourcing, and procurement across both operations and core functions. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the M Group-wide Thriving Together transformation programme lands successfully across the business, working with programme directors and division HR Directors to plan, design, and deploy the changes needed for the future

    In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of leading and managing the overall successful deployment of business change. You’ll be responsible for defining, agreeing, and executing a comprehensive change plan, managing key interdependencies, identifying and capitalising on opportunities, and mitigating any risks to ensure smooth implementation.

    You’ll be collaborating closely with division change leads to align and agree on local deployment plans, while also working with group function leads, including communications, learning & development, and employee relations, as well as divisional HR Directors, to define overall plans and strategies, you’ll will own the stakeholder engagement plan, working hand-in-hand with divisional HR Directors to ensure effective communication and buy-in from all stakeholders.

    What you’ll bring?
    • Experience in delivering change in field-based environments and industrial and/or utilities sectors
    • Be able to engage, and influence at Programme Director, HRD, and MD level
    • Proven experience of leading the delivery of complex changes across a multi-business structure
    • Experience in process, role, organisation, and culture change
    • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams through challenging transformations
    • A strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems
    • Experience in managing budgets and financial aspects of change programs
    • Familiarity with change management methodologies and tools
