Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
Morrison Water Services is recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to work on our Southern Water - Morrison Water Services and Galliford Try joint venture (MGjv) Water For Life - Southampton Link Maincontract in Hampshire.
Southern Water - Water for Life scheme - Cross country pipeline in Hampshire, 19.4km of 700m/900mm with a new reservoir and new pumping station with associated connections and civils works. This scheme has a 3 year programme of works.
As the Commercial Assistant your responsibilities will include:
You're role will include preparing records, retrieving documentation and interfacing with cost system.
You'll maintain accurate paper and computer-based records to ensure protection from disallowed costs. and produce correspondence, documents and presentations to specification using a variety of media.
We'll need you to maintain established paper and computer-based filing systems for correspondence and communications.
Due to the role being heavily admin based you'll also carry other tasks such as;
- Take minutes and actions as required for commercial meetings.
- Check data for consistency & address any anomalies as they arise.
- Conduct financial duties, for example, processing invoices or tracking costs.
- Ensure allocation sheets, timesheets, labour records, material records, weekly plant returns, daily diaries are maintained and securely stored, including upload to IT sharing platforms.
- Ensure all operatives and staff are logged in at site security in order to maintain an accurate record at all times of work and ensure these reflect the allocation sheets.
- Process applications for payment as directed.
- Produce reports, cost downloads, pivot tables etc as directed by the Commercial Team.
What you’ll bring
Do you have experience of working in a general administration support role?
Are you an organised individual with great time management skills?
Are you literate and numerate with proficiency using Microsoft products and other office applications?
Do you have knowledge of operating office equipment and IT?
Do you hold a Valid UK driving licence? This will be needed for the role.
