Where will you be working?
As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.
This role is in our Finance department, our finance team is responsible for the financial management of our Group. This includes financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs, offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

What will you be doing?
Are you ready to make an impact and grow your skills in a dynamic finance team? We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join us in an exciting role where no two days are the same.
You’ll be at the heart of our finance operations, assisting in the production of monthly management accounts, focusing on the fixed asset areas of the P&L and Balance Sheet. Your expertise will help us manage fixed asset additions, disposals, and maintain an accurate fixed asset register with monthly reconciliations and depreciation postings.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience of working in a fast moving Accounts team
- Qualified by experience or studying towards accounting qualifications
- Ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet multiple deadlines
- Ability to work under your own initiative
- The ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels is essential
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience of using Oracle desirable
- High attention to detail
