    Reporting to the Account Director, the Head of Operations will provide senior leadership across our night-time London Underground operations, overseeing Planned and Reactive Maintenance, Fire and associated project activities.

    This is a dedicated night-shift role (Sunday–Thursday, 10:00pm–6:00am) requiring on-site presence at our Pirin Court office throughout the shift.

    What you’ll do: 

    • Lead and drive the performance of the night-time operational teams, working through the relevant managers to ensure clear accountability, effective delivery and consistent performance.
    • Ensure operational delivery meets contractual, quality, health and safety requirements, with particular focus on compliance, safe systems of work and agreed operational standards.
    • Monitor operational performance against SLAs, KPIs and work-bank requirements, identifying issues proactively and taking action to improve delivery and response times.
    • Drive operational efficiencies and continuous improvement, using data and performance reporting to identify trends, reduce rework and improve the effectiveness of the night-time operation.
    • Optimise the deployment and utilisation of the operational workforce, ensuring resources are effectively managed while maintaining appropriate working time, fatigue and safety requirements.
    • Provide senior operational oversight and escalation during the night shift, ensuring priority incidents are quickly identified, appropriately managed and escalated, with clear ownership through to resolution.

    Who you are:

    You’re an experienced operational leader with a proven track record of managing large teams, driving performance and delivering continuous improvement. You’re proactive, data-driven and confident holding managers accountable in a fast-paced operational environment.

    Key Requirements:

    • Demonstrable relevant work place experience of managing multi-disciplined teams to deliver projects/tasks on a designated site(s), preferably in a Technology Services environment.
