    Where will you be working? 

    At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

    You’ll be joining our Work Winning team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

    What will you be doing?  

    Are you a good communicator? You'll work with bid teams to write tailored responses to clients and sectors, ensuring latest thinking is reflected in the submission.
    You'll turn technical information into work winning responses that reflect the client's aims and objectives.
    You'll develop and assess responses against evaluation criteria, and answer plans in line with client requirements and undertake storyboarding with subject matter experts .
    You'll ensure PQQ/ITT feedback is incorporated into subsequent submissions and shared.
    You'll support development of the bid library, gathering evidence and case studies to inform future submissions.
    You'll be responsible for submissions’ presentation and formatting ensuring that these comply with the submissions and Company guidelines.
    You'll ensure compliance to the internal Work Winning Process, and ensure that all submission content is reviewed by relevant bid team members prior to submission.
    You'll attend internal lessons learnt meetings for both successful and unsuccessful submissions.
    You'll assist in the development of case studies, CV’s, capability statements and award submissions, when required.
    You'll implement the requirements of the Company Management System (CMS), as applicable to the business operations.
    You'll keep up to date with current legislation and industry trends.

    Skills & Knowledge Requirements

    • Are you IT literate? You'll need IT skills and knowledge of Word, including advanced formatting skills.
    • You'll have worked on multi-million-pound construction submissions.
    • You'll understand work winning procedures and processes including reviews.
    • You'll need excellent research capability.
    • Do you enjoy working in a team? You'll be part of an ambitious team, building effective working relationships with both the wider work winning team and subject matter experts.
    • You'll be self-motivated with the drive to deliver against deadlines.
    • You'll have command of English language verbal and written (formal and informal).
    • You'll  have excellent proofreading skills and Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
    • You'll be experienced in producing project case studies, project capability statements and brochures.
    • You'll have a desire for self-development and continuous self-improvement.
