A Senior Quantity Surveyor at M Group
Our Senior Quantity Surveyors provide commercial leadership across projects, ensuring effective cost control, contract management and commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle. They lead on valuations, forecasting, risk management and tender activities while building strong relationships with clients, project teams and supply chain partners.
Through their commercial expertise, our Senior Quantity Surveyors help optimise financial performance, minimise risk and support the successful delivery of essential infrastructure services for life.
A Senior Quantity Surveyor at M Group would usually have;
- Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor within infrastructure, utilities or construction environments
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
- A strong understanding of commercial contracts (e.g. NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
- Excellent cost control, budgeting and financial reporting skills
- Strong problem-solving, organisational and decision-making abilities
- Good IT skills and familiarity with commercial management systems and tools
- Professional membership (e.g. RICS, CICES) would be advantageous
