This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Project Coordinator you’ll be supporting the successful delivery of multi-million-pound clean water, raw water, and wastewater capital projects under AMP8, this role works closely with the Project Management team to ensure projects are effectively coordinated from design through to construction and completion.
You’ll help to manage project documentation, maintain action trackers / logs, and ensure clear communication across design, commercial, and delivery teams.
Acting as a central point of coordination, you’ll proactively follow up on actions and highlight any foreseen issues to the project managers. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including Southern Water, you’ll have an awareness of the project programme and relevant steps required to take a project from initiation through to client handover. Your role will maintain continuity between office-based planning and on-site delivery.
The role also supports cost tracking, programme review, quality assurance, compliance, and stakeholder reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive project coordinator / coordinator / professional looking to play a key support role in delivering essential water infrastructure projects while driving collaboration, performance, and successful project outcomes.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in a project coordination, or similar role, within construction or infrastructure.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects involving design and construction teams, understanding key outputs and requirements to deliver a project.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive approach to tracking actions and helping resolving issues.
- Good understanding of project delivery processes and lifecycle.
- Ability to drive and a holder of a full UK driving license.
