We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
We are recruiting a Document Controller to support multiple projects across the Scottish Power Energy Networks Overhead Line portfolio. This is a full-time, permanent role based in our office at Bellshill, with frequent visits to other sites. The main Project you will be supporting is currently based in South Lanarkshire, just off the M74 near Coalburn.
As the Document Controller you will be an integral part of both the Project Team, delivering projects from conceptual design through to commissioning and client handover. You will also join our growing Site Support team, responsible for delivering Administrative Support and effective Document Control to multiple high-profile Projects across the Country.

What will you be doing?
You'll be managing the filing of all project documentation/deliverables to the client’s document management system. This includes aligning all submitted documentation with client codification & naming conventions and ensuring all submitted documentation adheres to the client’s BIM & ISO19650 standards.
Liaising with client document controllers to verify records are in their correct place, acting as the main point of contact for all deliverable document queries on the project.
Maintaining the electronic Project Folder System in parallel with the hard copy records and ensuring Project teams adhere to company Document Control procedures.
Working alongside the existing Document Control team to adapt to the dynamic requirements of both the business and the client, driving continuous improvement.
Assisting with meeting the Quality requirements stipulated by the client and acting as a point of contact for the frequent Quality Audits carried out by the client.
Aspects of general office & administration duties as required to support the wider needs of the business - including maintaining the office & supporting with Timecard Entries and Hotel bookings through our 3rd party bookings team.
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience as a Document Controller
- Awareness of ISO9001 Quality & ISO19650 Information Management standards
- Experience with using Autodesk Forma (Autodesk Construction Cloud) advantageous
- Ability to work in a busy and dynamic environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with different teams and stakeholders
- Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Ability to follow established procedures and guidelines to carry out quality assurance and compliance checks
