At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

Mobile networks- We keep the country connected through the survey, design, installation and maintenance of private 5G networks, small cells, supporting Smart Cities & Connected infrastructure.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will manage commercial activities across contracts, ensuring valuations, cost reporting and contract administration are accurate, compliant and delivered on time. Working closely with operational, finance and procurement teams, you will manage risk, protect margins and support junior colleagues.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting tenders, procurement and contract awards; managing valuations, payments, certifications, disputes and change control; validating costs, accruals and forecasting; administering subcontractors and maintaining commercial records.

You will produce CVRs, cashflow and revenue forecasts, monitor risks and opportunities, and ensure SLA and KPI performance is accurately reported.

Within the Mobile division, you will oversee Acquisition and Design commercial activities, maximise value from ADC contracts, manage client and subcontractor relationships, control cost changes, and provide month-end reporting and forecasts to support informed commercial decision-making.

What you’ll bring?

Essential:

Proven quantity surveying experience within infrastructure or construction, with strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, cost management and commercial processes.

Strong numerical, analytical and Excel skills, plus experience in subcontract management, contract administration, and identifying commercial risks.

Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to manage workloads and meet deadlines.

A clear communicator who builds effective relationships across operational, finance and procurement teams and supports junior colleagues.

Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.

Desirable:

RICS/CICES accreditation (or working towards), experience with FIDIC/JCT contracts, mentoring junior staff, and exposure to diverse projects and commercial environments.
