    Where will you be working?

    Aviation- Our Aviation team works across a wide range of specialist civil, mechanical and electrical engineering works including major international airports, regional airports and RAF airfields.

    MGroup Transport (Aviation) are seeking a Assistant Land & Utilities Surveyor to join our Survey team.  With a primary focus on our key clients at Heathrow and Gatwick airport. On occasion you may be supporting our wider Aviation, Defence and Adjacent Markets sectors covering projects around the Southeast and Midlands.

    What will you be doing?

    The Survey team provides technical services to a range of construction related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within design and construction phases of projects.

    This role is suitable for college leavers, graduates, those wishing to transfer their existing skill set to the Geomatics Industry, or existing Assistant Surveyors looking to fast track their way into Surveying.

    The Survey team provides technical services to a range of construction related disciplines, including invaluable support to our divisional teams and departments within the design and construction phases of projects.

    Due to the nature of our projects (Airside & Landside operations) you MUST be prepared to work nights when required.


    What you’ll bring

    • Full UK driving license
    • 5yr Traceable employment / studying records
    • Ability and willingness to work flexibly (day/night shift / away from base location)
    • Basic computer skills (Excel, Word etc)
    • Ability to work as part of a team and desire to learn new skills or develop existing ones.

    Desirable:

    • Basic site experience / CSCS accreditation
    • Ability to interpret technical information and drawings
    • Level 3 QCF Certificate in Utility Mapping and Surveying
