    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.

    We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.

    This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

    What will you be doing?

    We’re looking for someone to lead our fibre build team. You’ll make sure our projects run smoothly, safely and on time. You’ll guide teams, solve problems and help us grow.

    This is a hands-on role. You’ll work with people across the business and out in the field. You’ll manage build plans, check progress and keep everything moving. You’ll also make sure we meet targets and follow rules.

    We want someone who knows fibre networks and how to build them. You’ll need to lead teams, manage budgets and deal with suppliers. You’ll also need to spot risks and fix issues before they grow.

    To do this job well, you’ll need:

    • Experience leading fibre builds projects from start to finish
    • A strong understanding of telecoms networks and how they’re built
    • A track record of managing teams and working with contractors
    • Good knowledge of health, safety and street works rules
    • A full UK driving licence
    • You’ll be part of a team that’s proud of what it builds. We work hard, support each other and get the job done.

     

    What you’ll bring;

    You know how to lead fibre build projects from start to finish. You’ve worked in telecoms and understand how fibre networks are built, tested and delivered. You’ve managed teams on the ground and know how to keep people safe, motivated and focused. You’ve worked with contractors, suppliers and local authorities, and you know how to keep things moving when plans change.

    You’re confident making decisions and solving problems. You can spot risks early and take action before they grow. You understand how to manage time, money and people, and you know how to get the best out of your team. You’ve worked with build plans, permits and safety rules, and you know how to keep everything on track.

    You bring energy, focus and a clear sense of direction. You’re someone who takes ownership and gets things done. You care about quality and take pride in delivering work that’s right first time. You’re also a strong communicator who can explain things clearly and bring people with you.

    You hold a full UK driving licence and you’re ready to travel when needed. You’re used to working in a fast-paced environment and you’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves when the job needs it.
