    This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery teamOur teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

    What will you be doing?
     

    As our Site Engineer with experience in the water industry you'll work on our Thames Water Capital Delivery Framework covering South London and Thames Valley.

    You'll be part the delivery team responsible for delivering accurate and timely engineering data to support design, construction, and handover of infrastructure projects.  

    You'll help to ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget.
     
    You'll be responsible for producing drawings (AutoCAD) and (Civil3D). Controlling drawings on site and checking that all revisions are clouded. Conducting feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations to identify project requirements and constraints.
     
    Identify Commercial issues on site and raise EWN and TQ’s. As Built surveys. On-site materials testing (e.g., concrete; filling etc.)

    You'll be performing material reconciliations where required. Informing subcontractors of incorrect/defective works 
    Assist with construction activities and coordination.
     
    You'll have the opportunity to assist in the handover with operations and assist with the handover documentation. 

    What you’ll bring

     
    • Have you gained experience within the water industry essential and specifically within mini package pumping station surveys, design and as built management?
    • Do you have the ability to operate CAD and Microsoft suite?
    • Can you carry out setting out requirements for pipelines, structures and no dig techniques using GPS, LEICA Robotic Total Stations and Digital Levels?
    • Do you have a bachelor’s degree or HND in civil engineering
    • SMSTS
    • CSCS card
    • Appointed Person (Lifting Operations)
    • Temporary Works Coordinator
    • Full clean driving licence
