    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team.  We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

    What will you be doing?

    You’ll join our Demand Management and Network Infrastructure team, supporting the safe delivery of smart metering solutions that help manage essential water supply for the future. You’ll work closely with operational teams, carrying out regular site visits and audits as you champion a positive SHE culture across every project.

    You’ll play a hands-on part in customer-facing installations, excavation, service avoidance and traffic management. You’ll support incident investigations, briefings and continuous improvement, making sure we exceed safety, quality, and compliance standards—so we can protect people, the environment and our customers, every day.

    What you’ll bring 

    • Do you have a NEBOSH General Certificate and a strong grasp of SHE legislation across construction, utilities and customer-facing environments?
    • Can you demonstrate experience supporting SHE on utility infrastructure, street works or construction projects?
    • Are you confident with audits, inspections and leading briefings, toolbox talks and safety campaigns?
    • Do you understand excavation safety, service avoidance and traffic management?
    • Are you proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement in SHE performance?
