    Where will you be working? 

    At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

    You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

    What you'll be doing 
    • Working with the Operational, Finance and Commercial teams closely ensuring accurate and timely data capture facilitating and being responsible for the data input
    • Handling operational administration such as uploading daily job sheets, updating plant and material allocation spreadsheets and handling associated issue sheets.
    • Scheduling meetings and taking notes, actions and decision including for interviews and investigation meetings
    • Downloading of training and uploading of proof of attendance and training certification
    • Uploading operative timesheets including out of hours, winter maintenance and normal duties
    • General office duties such as printing, scanning, laminating, maintaining up to date notice boards, ordering office consumables and receiving visitors
    • Assisting in the completion and recording of office compliance inspections and associated  administration

    What you’ll bring

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
    • IT literate including competent use of the Microsoft package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn administration functions on commercial and accounting software  
    • Open, friendly and able to work as part of a team and follow reasonable instructions for tasks associated with the role
    • Effective time management skills, able to prioritise workload and meet targets that include repeated daily deadlines
    • Adaptable and willing to learn new skills, taking on additional, reasonable tasks over and above those detailed
