    Where will you be working?

    We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards.  We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    This role will be within our Demand management and network infrastructure team.  We look after 60 million meters and our teams provide advanced metering solutions to help manage demand for essential suppliers.

    What will you be doing? 
     
    You'll be working 4 x Night Shifts 5pm until 5am Monday - Thursday as part of a 3 man Hotbox team and you'll receive a 25% uplift on basic salary (Only when working the night shifts)
     
    We'll need you to complete proactive dig out and box lifting/resetting along with open hole tarmac Reinstatements in both footways and carriageway's.
     
    You'll comply with all M Group's policies and procedures along with Health and Safety regulations.
     
    You'll be required to work in all weather conditions outside all year around, and will complete all required Vehicle Checks prior to driving a company vehicle as well as completing Risk Assessments and gathering relevant evidence for the Client to ensure payment for the completed jobs.

    What you’ll bring 

    • Do you have experience in most forms of Utilities Reinstatement in the Highways to HAUC specification?
    • Have you got valid UK Driving Licence? (Class2 preferred) 
    • Are you someone who is keen and enthusiastic to get the job done, be able to problem solve yet ask for help when required?
    • Can you be flexible? As weekend overtime is available most weekends and will be expected to do a reasonable amount of overtime.
    • Do you have Basic IT skills? As all work is delivered on a Toughbook Computer and Risk Assessments are completed electronically. (Training is provided)
