You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s number one highway maintenance contractor, our teams use the latest innovations to create effective solutions. We offer a range of services including planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.

What will you be doing?
You'll lead site team including supervision, engineering teams and subcontractors.
Produce short term programmes from the Contract Programme and communicate to the wider team.
You'll monitor site activities against target programmes reporting exceptions in outputs, delays etc.
Be responsible for ensuring change on site is identified and recorded in line with NEC
We'll require you to support the site engineering teams and provide guidance.
You'll ensure adequate records are maintained through site photographs, daily diaries and as built drawings.
Carry out daily site briefings and supervise sub-contractor task briefings.
You'll monitor all works activities to ensure that they meet the Works Specification.
Along with formal communications to clients and subcontractors.
What you’ll bring
- A good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision
- A sound commercial foundation to facilitate cost control
- Effective team management, leadership and influencing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in all situations;
- The ability to drive excellent relationships with client and colleagues
- The ability to remain flexible in your approach to the role whilst embracing change
- Experience of working on NEC contracts including the mechanisms for notifications.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
