Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll be working with our Site Survey Team on our Caledonia Water Alliance framework in Scotland.
Caledonia Water Alliance is a Joint Venture alliance between Aecom and Morrison Water Services to support the delivery of Scottish Water's SR21 Capital Investment programme and is responsible for the delivery of a £700M water and wastewater infrastructure programme over a 6-year alliance framework.
You'll be part of our Operations Team who are responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our water infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
You'll work alongside the Survey Manager in managing contractors in all aspects of obtaining survey information on; existing Scottish Water assets, other utilities companies apparatus and any other structures, both below and above ground. This will entail working with PM’s and the commercial team to set up the sub-contracts.
You'll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure permissions are in place to allow the survey works to progress.
We'll need you to ensure all sites are compliant with company SHEQ policy and procedure and drive a strong Health & Safety and quality focus culture and report to the Project Managers.
There will be various documents you will need to maintain such as the SHEQ and QA documents.
You will have the responsibility of controlling all permits and making sure all site inductions are carried out whilst engaging with contractors on a regular basis to report progress against the programme.
We'll need you to recognise and submit SWiPE entries to capture anything that impacts our delivery of projects or impacts progress and be able to use Survey123.
