    Where will you be working?

    At M Group Highways, we’re supporting the safe transportation and movement of people across the UK.

    You’ll be joining our Civils projects team- We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll be leading associated site team including supervision of subcontractors and self delivery teams to successful completion of works.
     
    Alongside being responsible for managing change on site in line with the NEC contract conditions. Monitor site activities against target programmes reporting exceptions in outputs, delays etc.
     
    We'll ask you to complete all activities with diligence and energy to maximise the time spent on site planning and supervising works.
     
    Ensuring adequate records are maintained through site photographs, daily diaries and as built drawings.
     
    You'll take ownership for safety and environmental compliance for your project and ensure all identified actions are closed out within their timescale.

    What you’ll bring

    • Do you have a good level of experience in civil engineering and workforce supervision including earthworks; drainage and structures in a highways environment? 
    • A good level of commercial acumen to facilitate cost control
    • Effective team management, leadership and influencing skills to get the best from everyone;
    • Excellent customer skills and the ability to work collaboratively in all situations;
    • The ability to drive excellent relationships with contacts at all levels including the client, colleagues and members of key stakeholders;
    • Experience of working on NEC3 contracts including the mechanisms for notifications.
    • Highly organised and able to prioritise, whilst multi-tasking for many stakeholders, and still remaining focussed on what’s most important
