    Where will you be working?

    As an organisation, there is little we don’t do and plenty to get involved in. Our Group Support roles are vital in making sure we can help over 11,000 people deliver essential infrastructure seamlessly across water, energy, transport and telecom.

    This role is in our Plant and Fleet Department, Plant & Fleet supports teams across our business with their vehicle, plant and specialist equipment needs. Offering hire solutions that are commercially effective, reliable, safe and compliant.

    What will you be doing?

    You'll take charge of ensuring compliance with both scheduled and reactive maintenance, making certain everything runs smoothly and efficiently. 

    You're responsible for setting up HGVs in your regional area on Key2 and Asset-Go, keeping the systems accurate and up-to-date. 

    You'll ensure every scheduled and reactive maintenance event is allocated to the appropriate internal or external providers. Raising POs, seeing the work completed, closing the job, and accurately uploading labour, parts costs and compliance paperwork to the fleet management system. 

    You're building strong, collaborative relationships with customers, transport managers, and drivers in your regional area. Delivering exceptional service and ensuring commercial vehicle maintenance and compliance remain a top priority. 

    You'll identify and set up new maintenance suppliers to assist your regional area, carefully following the established process to ensure quality and consistency. 

    You're implementing regular monthly maintenance review meetings with your regional supply chain and MGSPFS maintenance auditor, fostering open communication and a reliable working relationship. 

    What you’ll bring

    • Experience of working within a transport environment, managing commercial vehicle maintenance activities.
    • Sound knowledge of DVSA's guide to maintaining roadworthiness.
    • Capability to take ownership/responsibility, demonstrated through actions and behaviours.
    • Customer focused with effective communication skills and dedicated to delivering a high standard of customer service
    • Category B Driving Licence.
