    At M Group Water, we help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.

    We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Liaison Graduate to join our customer team in Falmer.

    As a Customer Liaison Graduate, you’ll have the opportunity too:

    • Supporting the development of customer and stakeholder communications in collaboration with the Client Customer Team and Delivery Teams
    • Assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing customer letters, newsletters, and updates
    • Learning about industry metrics such as C-MeX and D-MeX, and understanding how our work contributes to customer satisfaction
    • Participating in team and project meetings to gain insight into project delivery and customer engagement strategies
    • Shadowing and supporting the delivery of onsite customer training sessions
    • Helping to maintain and update impact assessments and communication plans for active projects
    • Attending customer drop-in sessions and community engagement events alongside the Delivery Team and client
    • Engaging with customers and communities to help minimise disruption and promote a positive experience
    • Supporting the resolution of customer issues under guidance, ensuring timely and professional responses
    • Assisting in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports for internal and client use
    • Taking part in training and development activities as part of the graduate programme
    • Participating in the Out of Hours rota (with support), acting as a contact for customer emergencies

    What is the expected career progression after this graduate role?

    This is a permanent role with a clear pathway for progression. As a Customer Liaison Graduate, you’ll gain the experience and skills needed to advance into roles such as Customer Service ManagerStakeholder Engagement Lead, or Project Communications Coordinator, with opportunities to work across major infrastructure projects.

    • A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Communications, Business, Environmental Studies, or similar)
    • Strong communication and organisational skills
    • A proactive and empathetic approach to customer service
    • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites
    • A passion for making a positive impact in communities
