Morrison Energy Services is recruiting for a IT Solutions Support Analyst to work in the IT Analysis Team. Providing business solutions for the entire contract portfolio within the Energy Division
The role itself involves providing hyper care, user management and reporting support, maintaining static data in systems and working on small change projects through the entire lifecycle (change request, impact assessment, requirement gathering, solution design, testing, & deployment). The successful candidate will show drive to own and complete projects to a high quality as well as strong initiative in identifying opportunities to improve service, quality, safety, and/or reduce costs through developing existing or introducing new systems and processes.
As a IT Solutions Support Analyst your key responsibilities will be:
- Work closely with business stakeholders, providing analysis, reporting and support in commercial and operational systems
- Maintain excellent communication channels with all key stakeholders.
- Maintain static data requirements for divisional systems
- Share knowledge and experience with colleagues and promote the benefits of consistent use of processes and systems
- Where system development is deemed necessary, produce system specifications to the agreed format and ensure correct testing, approvals and training are completed
- Continually support new & existing solutions by gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Familiarity in business analysis disciplines with knowledge of current technologies and IT landscapes
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and suppliers at different levels within the business hierarchy
- Able to produce professional documentation which is concise and explicit in content
- Experience of Salesforce, Oracle and IFS platforms is advantageous
- Highly numerate & literate
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications (Excel, PPT, Visio)
- Reporting experience, especially in using Power BI would be an advantage, but not essential.
- Flexible approach to problem solving, and ability to take ownership.
- Able to effectively manage and deliver multiple tasks / projects simultaneously
Additional Information:
Driving license desirable- Occasional travel to sites across the UK, particularly Newcastle Upon Tyne may be required dependant on work profile.
